Ametsub es un artista japonés que reside en Tokio y trabaja en la música electrónica. Ha participado en importantes festivales en Japón y Europa. Saca su primer álbum ‘The Nothings of The North’ (Progressive Form, 2009 – Mille Plateaux, 2010).
‘All is Silence’ me recuerda a la electrónica rítmica y melódica de Plaid y Boards Of Canada y la corriente glitch pop de mediados de los ’90.
Pequeñas notas de piano, ruidos sintéticos, beats comprimidos y algunos atisbos jazzísticos, todos ellos armados en un software de diseño sonoro. Pulcro y por cierto con muchos bellos pasajes para el baile y la escucha profunda.

‘All is Silence’ reminds me of the rhythmic and melodic electronica of Plaid and Boards Of Canada and glitch pop style of the mid-’90s.
Small piano notes, synthetic noises, stripped-down beats and glimpses of jazz, all armed in a sound design software. Neat and with many beautiful passages indeed for dancing and deep listening.
