Ashley Paul estudió composición y acaba de realizar una pasantía junto a Eli Keszler en Nueva York para el Issue Project Room que incluyó tocar junto a renombrados artistas como Loren Connors, Aki Onda y Greg Kelley, con Phill Niblock y David Linton.
Ella sacó su segundo disco “D.O.L.” en el sello de Eli Keszler Rel Records que es una sesión de improvisación en la que toca clarinete, saxofón, campanas, crotales, guitarra, percusión e utiliza su voz como si fuera otro instrumento.
Este CD es una pieza electroacústica que despliega tonos sostenidos y electrónicamente manipulados, sonidos ondulantes y modulaciones cambiantes incluyendo su voz.

Ashley Paul is a musical trained musician who studied composition and just did an artist residency alongside Eli Keszler at the Issue Project Room in New York City and performed with renowned artists in the likes of Loren Connors, Aki Onda and Greg Kelley, with Phill Niblock and David Linton.
She released her second CD ‘D.O.L.’ on Eli Keszler Rel Records imprint which is an improv session in which she plays saxophone, clarinet, bells, crotales, guitar, percussion and use her voice just as another instrument.
This CD is an electro-acoustic piece deploying sustained and electronically manipulating tones, wavering sounds and shifting modulations including her voice.
