B. Fleischmann, “The Humbucking Coil”, Morr Music, 2006
Bernhard Fleischmann saca un nuevo disco en Morr Music después de su anterior ‘Welcome Tourist’ y de su proyecto Duo 505 junto a Herbert Weixelbauer.
En este disco Fleischmann, compositor y cantante, utiliza una válvula con micrófono, vibráfono, piano, guitarra y batería programable.
“The Humbucking Coil” es un pop elegante, en el que los arreglos electrónicos se combinan con los acústicos, creando así bellas canciones como “Broken monitors” con su rock cansino, pero cuya base rítmica despliega gran fuerza. Unas bellas notas de vibráfono, batería con insinuaciones jazzy y acordes melódicos de la guitarra.
Una destacada canción es “Static grate” con su piano marcando una exquisita cadencia que la batería sigue con un ritmo ralentizado y lo que parece ser un bello e insinuante clarinete.

Bernhard Fleischmann is out with a new album on Morr Music after his previous ‘Welcome Tourist’ and his project Duo 505 along with Herbert Weixelbauer.
In this album Fleischmann, composer and singer, plays an old valve-driven microphone, vibraphone, piano, guitar and drum machine.
‘The Humbucking Coil’ is an elegant pop album where the electronic arrangements blend together with the acoustic ones, creating beautiful songs like “Broken monitors” with its slow motion rock but at the same time a powerful rhythm base, a few gorgeous vibraphone notes, a jazzy edge on the drums and melodic guitar chords.
An outstanding song is ‘Static burnishes’ with its piano marking an exquisite cadence that the drums follow with a slowed-down rhythm and what seems to be a sleeky clarinet.
