Jason Szostek ha estado activo en la escena underground americana desde 1982 y ha estado involucrado en muchos proyectos como The Free World, Prototype 909, Relaxo All-Stars e innumerables colaboraciones y apariciones en compilados. Sin embargo, “Parousia Fallacy” es el primer disco que saca en solitario y reúne trabajos de los últimos 25 años.
Este es un disco de ambient que tiene atisbos a la música electrónica de los ’90 que recuerda influencias tales como Future Sound Of London, The Irresistible Force, Woob y sellos como Warp, EM:T, Skam y por supuesto al ahora desaparecido Instinct Records, casa de Prototype 909, Human Mesh Dance, entre otros.
“Parousia Fallacy” crea una gran ambientación, tonos brillantes, junto a pulsantes ritmos y tanto encantadoras atmósferas como oscuros pasajes, bajo una electrónica análoga.

Jason Szostek has been active in the electronic underground scene in the US since 1982. He was involved in many projects in the likes of The Free World, Prototype 909, Relaxo All-Stars, and countless collaborations and compilation appearances. Nevertheless ‘Parousia Fallacy’ is Szostek’s first solo full length that reunites his work of the last 25 years.
This an ambient album that has the flavour of the electronic music from the nineties that recall influences such as Future Sound Of London, The Irresistible Force, Woob, labels like Warp, EM:T, Skam and of course the now defunct Instinct Records, home of Prototype 909, Human Mesh Dance, among others.
‘Parousia Fallacy’ creates a great ambience, shimmering tones, together with pulsating beats and both enchanting atmosphere and a dark mood, under an analogue set-up.
