Después de ‘Thrown’ (2006) y ‘Play Scar’ (2010), ambos editados en Room40, sello del artista australiano Lawrence English, el pianista Chris Abrahams de la conocida banda australiana The Necks, nos ofrece su nueva entrega ‘Memory Night’.
Aquí están presentes los dispositivos electrónicos, instrumentos como el piano, la pandereta, otros elementos percusivos, guitarra, diversos ruidos digitales y objetos metálicos. Un mundo sonoro rico en matices, timbres y profundidad que Abrahams en su despliegue de improvisación llena el espacio de ruido y algunos atisbos melódicos.
Cuatro temas realizados con preciosismo donde cada sonido es inesperado y sorprende por su sonoridad y atractivo.

After ‘Thrown’ (2006) and ‘Play Scar’ (2010), both released on Australian artist Lawrence English’s Room40 label, pianist Chris Abrahams of the renowned Australian band The Necks delivers his new release ‘Memory Night’.
Here there are electronic devices, instruments like the piano, tambourine, other percussive elements, guitar, diverse digital noise and metal objects. A sonic world rich in nuances, timbres and depth that Abrahams in his deployment of improvised music fills the space with noise and melodic glimpses.
Four tracks performed with preciousness, where each sound is unexpected and surprising for its sonority.
