Flingo Sound es un nuevo sello de Chicago fundado por Bruce Adams (otrora co-fundador de Kranky) que edita discos descargables y ediciones limitadas en vinilo.
Cristal está compuesto por Jimmy Anthony, Greg Darden y Bobby Donne (Labradford, Aix Em Klemm).
«Re-Ups» es el segundo álbum del trío y es una pieza de drones que a veces se torna ruidosa («Left of Swept») pero gran parte del disco se mueve en oscuros paisajes sonoros creados por múltiples capas de sonidos estéticos. La atmósfera está cargada de tensión desde que los sonidos vienen de otro espacio.

Flingo Sound System is a new label based in Chicago and founded by Bruce Adams (Kranky’s former co-founder) of download albums and limited edition LPs.
Cristal members are Jimmy Anthony, Greg Darden and Bobby Donne (Labradford, Aix Em Klemm).
«Re-Ups» is the second album of this trio and it’s a droning piece of music that sometimes becomes noisy («Left of Swept») but most of the album moves into dark soundscapes created by multiple layers of synthetic sounds. The atmosphere is full of tension since the sounds come from the outer space.
