Este es el quinto trabajo y tercero en el sello Aesthetics establecido por Daniel Givens quien reside en Nueva York.
Este fino trabajo es una mezcla de ritmos cercanos al hip-hop, funk, dub, space-rock, todo ello bajo el influjo del avant-garde.
La grave voz de Givens cubren cada canción con una oscura y elegante atmósfera. Las voces en collage van y vienen y sintes space-rock crean una banda sonora surrealista.
La música es sorprendente e inesperada como la marimba en “Chile of Mine” y las magníficas líneas de sinte y la voz con vocoder en “Run Against the Wind”.

This is the fifth instalment and third album on the Aesthetics label by New York based musician/poet Daniel Givens.
This fine work consists in an array of rhythms close to hip-hop, funk, dub but shaped under an avant-garde influence.
Givens’s grave voice wrapped every song with a dark and elegant atmosphere. His collage voices come back and forth, and space-rock synths create a surrealistic soundtrack.
The music is stunning and unexpected like the marimba on ‘Child of Mine’ and the gorgeous synth lines and the vocoder voice on ‘Run Against the Wing’.
