Daniella Ljungsberg
Daniella Ljungsberg es una cantante, compositora y productora sueca afincada en Estocolmo, quien estudió en el Departamento de Nuevas Músicas de la Escuela Multidisciplinar de Arte Musrara de Jerusalén. Su background musical remite a las técnicas electroacústicas y con especial foco en la musique concréte, incorporando grabaciones de campo, instrumentos acústicos procesados y manipulaciones digitales.
Desde 2019, ha publicado tres álbumes instrumentales en Raash Records (Jerusalén), Quality Music (Viena) y Saga Domaine (Países Bajos). Además, ha publicado otros tres álbumes: “Augmented Vacant» (2023), “I Do Care” (Orthodox, 2024) y “Do I Care” (Orthodox, 2025), en los que utiliza sintetizadores, grabaciones de campo, ruido y procesamiento vocal, desplegando una singular mezcla de folk, dream-pop y lo-fi.
Ljungsberg trabaja en solitario y en su dúo IMMA junto a Itzik Gil Avizohar, junto a| colaboraciones en danza y cine. Su trabajo se ha exhibido en destacados lugares y festivales, como la Semana de la Moda de París, Rhiz (Viena), el Festival Fringe de Estocolmo, el Centro Suzanne Dellal (Tel Aviv), Madame Claude (Berlín), Skaiv (Estocolmo), el Festival de Danza de Holanda, el Festival de Danza de Chemnitz, entre otros.
El sello parisino Orthodox debutó con el álbum “I Do Care” que transmite canciones basadas en samples, inspiradas en el folclore nórdico, cuya atmósfera nostálgica evoca la infancia de Daniella Ljungsberg en Suecia, con canciones tan bellas como “The Garden And The Dream” con su parsimonia y elegancia en su despliegue. La continuación de “I Do Care” es su nuevo disco “Do I Care” que se inclina hacia lo ambiental, con un extendido trabajo textural de vocales, a excepción de gemas como “The Carrier (I touch its cold)” que remite a los arpegios de la Kosmische alemana.
Las voces etéreas en “The Rip and the Dream” flotan con un tono naive, como si fuera la canción para un niño(a). Daniella Ljungsberg seduce con un aire bucólico e imágenes que se difuminan en los límites del estado de ensueño.
Daniella Ljungsberg is a Swedish singer, composer and producer based in Stockholm, who studied at the Department of New Music at the Musrara Multidisciplinary School of the Arts in Jerusalem. Her musical background refers to electro-acoustic techniques with a special focus on musique concréte, incorporating field recordings, processed acoustic instruments and digital manipulations.

The Paris based label Orthodox debuted with the album ‘I Do Care’ which conveys sample-based songs inspired by Nordic folklore, whose nostalgic atmosphere evokes Daniella Ljungsberg’s childhood in Sweden, with such beautiful songs as ‘The Garden And The Dream’ with its parsimony and elegance in its unfolding. The follow-up to ‘I Do Care’ is her new album ‘Do I Care’ which leans towards ambient, with extended textural vocal work, with the exception of gems like ‘The Carrier (I touch its cold)’ which harks back to German Kosmische arpeggios.
