Fields We Found
Fields We Found es el proyecto del músico, ingeniero de masterización y artista visual británico, Alex Gold quien dirige el destacado sello inglés Quiet Details dedicado a relevar el trabajo de músicos del ambient como Wil Bolton, Bill Seaman, James Murray, Loula Yorke, The Humble Bee, Arovane, Ian Boddy, entre otros artistas. Las portadas de los álbumes están inspiradas en la música y el concepto de cada álbum. La etiqueta también realiza una labor social de apoyo al Centro Oncológico del Hospital Universitario – Milton Keynes y al abnegado personal sanitario.
Gold tiene varios discos autoeditados y publicados en Ambientologist, Home Normal, Fluid Audio y Quiet Details, entre otros sellos. Con su música crea paisajes sonoros inmersivos de escucha profunda.
Al inicio de cada nuevo lanzamiento se podrá escuchar libremente, pero luego de eso estará disponible en exclusiva para suscriptores de Bandcamp para hacer más sostenible la creación musical.
En esta ocasión, “resolve / relate 02” es una serie mensual de piezas de larga duración y corresponde a la continuación de “resolve / relate 01” editado el 22 de enero 2025 que en esta oportunidad incluirá, además de la canción principal, una versión alternativa más breve con influencia del dub.
‘resolve / relate 02’ comienza con un tema de 22 minutos en el que se despliega un drone y en su transcurso, los tonos comienzan a cambiar lentamente hacia la mitad del tema, cuyas texturas forman suaves capas aterciopeladas a medida que se adentra en una inducción al trance. “resolve / relate 02 (stasis dub)” comienza con su talante hipnótico que por momentos alcanza cierta intensidad. Gold logra agregar sutiles capas de ruido que flotan por el ambiente que se perciben a través de una profunda escucha. Este es el momento culmine para sentirse atrapado por el sonido envolvente de Fields We Found.
Fields We Found is the project of British musician, mastering engineer and visual artist, Alex Gold who runs the leading British label Quiet Details dedicated to highlighting the work of ambient musicians such as Wil Bolton, Bill Seaman, James Murray, Loula Yorke, The Humble Bee, Arovane, Ian Boddy, among others. The album artworks are inspired by the music and concept of each album. The label with each release supports the Cancer Centre-Milton Keynes University Hospital and the dedicated healthcare staff.
Gold has several self-released albums out on Ambientologist, Home Normal, Fluid Audio and Quiet Details, among other imprints. His music creates immersive soundscapes for a deep listening.
At the beginning of each new release it will be free to listen to, but after that it will be available exclusively to Bandcamp subscribers to make the music creation more sustainable.
On this occasion, ‘resolve / relate 02’ is a monthly series of full-length pieces and corresponds to the continuation of ‘resolve / relate 01’ released on 22 January 2025, which this time will include, in addition to the title track, a shorter dub-influenced alternate version.
