Este es el trabajo del australiano Lloyd Barret, artista sonoro que trabaja en la ciudad de Brisbane en audio y video y cuya música se enmarca dentro de la electroacústica y concreta.
«Mise en Scene» recibe la colaboración de Andrew Thomson en agua torturada y ruidos en el tema 5 y golpes incidentales en el 7, Paul Forbes-Mitchell en sonidos concretos y disco duro en el tema 6, Joel Stern en guitarra bee en el track 7 y Dan Kirby en piano en el primer y cuarto track y voz procesada en el tema 6.
Con su trabajo de sonidos concretos, electrónica y densos ambientes, Barret crea una banda sonora que se basa en los escritos de Michel Chion.
Se pueden escuchar sonidos de pájaros, búhos y ranas que habitan en un bosque y también ruidos mecánicos, drones, manipulaciones diversas, golpes abruptos. En definitiva, un soundtrack que nos invita a un mundo complejo como el actual: inesperado, rudo, con momentos de sosiego, de turbaciones, es decir, de emociones encontradas.

This is the work of Australian sound artist Lloyd Barret based in Brisbane who works in the audio and video art field and whose music is within the concrète music.
Mise en Scene is a collaboration between Andrew Thomson on water tortured, crash initiator and incidentals, Paul Forbes-Mitchell on pure data and concrete sounds, Joel Stern on bee guitar and Dani Kirby on piano and processed voice.
With his work of concrete sounds, electronics and dense atmospheres, Barret creates a soundtrack which is based on the writings of Michel Chion.
On Mise en Scene we can listen sounds of bird songs, owls and frogs that inhabit in a forest and on the other hand, mechanical noises, drones, diverse manipulations, steep blows. Really this is soundtrack that invites us to a complex world like nowadays: unexpected, rude, with moments of calmness, confusion, that is to say, different emotions that come together.
