Este es el duodécimo álbum de Glenn Johnson y compañía, viaje comenzado en 1996 por los ingleses. Diferentes sellos (Rocket Girl, 4AD, Make Mine Music, Acuarela, Darla, etc.) han acogido la diversidad musical de la agrupación, la que ha transitado pasajes ligados al mejor indie rock (Low Birth Weight, Artists’ Rifles), electrónica (Popular Mechanics, Disaffected), soundtracks y ediciones especiales (Son de Mar, A Trick of the Sea). Diversos también han sido los integrantes en las diferentes etapas del grupo como también muchos colaboradores han compartido las inquietudes y propuestas del equipo.
Ese sentido transitorio e itinerante es a lo que nos enfrentamos en cada nueva incursión de Piano Magic, y el disco que hoy visitamos es un reflejo de ello. La transitoriedad de la banda se ha vuelto desde hace un tiempo más transversal e integrada, orgánica y madura, sensible e histórica.
Life Has… nos enmudece a ratos, muestra colores más oscuros, sugiere menos luz. ¿Qué nos queda luego de escucharlo? El recuerdo de una conversación íntima, voces lejanas en la penumbra, un cansancio reconfortante, un sueño interminable.

This is the twelfth album of UK Glenn Johnson and company and their journey started in 1996. Different imprints (Rocket Girl, 4AD, Make Mine Music, Acuarela, Darla, etc.) have embraced the musical variety of the band that has gone through passages related with the best indie rock (Low Birth Weight, Artists’ Rifles), electronica (Popular Mechanics, Disaffected), soundtracks and special releases (Son de Mar, A Trick of the Sea). Several members had been part of the group in their different stages, as well as many collaborators have shared the concerns and proposals of the team.
That transitory and itinerant meaning is what we face in each new Piano Magic incursion, and the album that we visit today is a reflection of that. The transitoriness of the band has become for some time more transversal and integrated, organic and mature, sensitive and historic.
Life Has Not Finished With Me Yet muted us at times, shows darker colors, suggests less light. What remains to us after listening to it? The memory of an intimate conversation, distant voices in the gloom, a comforting weariness, endless sleep.
