Stephen Hummel es un músico de Vancouver que lleva una carrera de siete años, comenzando como jazzista improvisador pero su interés por los sintetizadores análogos lo llevan de lleno a la música electrónica.
En este sello había editado su anterior álbum «Giving up the Ghost» que tenía una fuerte inclinación de la electrónica melódica del sello de Berlín City Centre Offices, hoy se vuelve más expansivo y ambiental con algunos atisbos en la percusión jazzística con influencia en los ambientes cósmicos de la electrónica alemana de fines de los ’70 [Tangerine Dream…].
En general este disco es muy parejo pues los temas mantienen esa densidad ambiental que produce atmósferas interesantes.

Stephen Hummel is a Vancouver musician performing for seven years now who started in the field of jazz/improv music but his interest in the analogue synthesizers moved him to electronic music.
In this label he had released his previous ‘Giving up the Ghost’ album was close to the sound of Berlin’s City Centre Offices. With his latest album Hummel creates a more expansive ambiance with some spying to jazz percussion and with a distinctive influence in the 70’s German electronic cosmic era [Tangerine Dream…].
In sum this album is very balance since all the songs maintain that environmental density that it produces interesting atmospheres.
