The Fun Years se formó en 2005 por Isaac Sparks (torna mesas) y Ben Recht (guitarra). Desde entonces han editado cinco CD-R’s y Barge Recordings editó su primer álbum “Life-Sized Psychoses” en 2007 y ese mismo año incluyó un tema del dúo en el compilado ‘Innature”.
La música sublime de The Fun Years consiste en cinco temas en los que Sparks desarrolla nebulosas atmósferas, en las que emergen sutiles melodías, lánguidas cadencias, ruidos de la superficie de un vinilo, estática y siseo y por otra parte, Recht con su guitarra produce infinitos loops y drones.
El trabajo texturado de The Fun Years es perfecto para una banda sonora con móviles figuras humanas, paisajes, espacios deshabitados y naturaleza.

The Fun Years was formed in 2004 by Isaac Sparks (turntables) and Ben Recht (guitar). Since then they had self-released five CD-R’s and Barge Recordings released their first album ‘Life-Sized Psychoses’ in 2007 and the same year included a track of the duo on the ‘Innature’ compilation.
The Fun Years’s sublime music consists in five tracks where Sparks unfolds hazy atmospheres, emerging subtle melodies, languid cadences, vinyl surface noise, static and hiss, while Recht with his guitar makes endless loops and sustained drones.
The textured work of The Fun Years is perfect for a soundtrack of moving human figures, landscapes, deep blue spaces and nature.
