**DJ Olive, “Heaps As, Live in Tamania”, The Agriculture, 2006**

Gregor Asch aka DJ Olive es un músico y compositor residente en Brooklyn quien ha trabajado con Kim Gordon de Sonic Youth y la laptopista e improvisadora Ikue Mori y ha colaborado en improvisaciones con Jim O’Rourke, Jah Wobble, Alan Vega, John Zorn, entre otros.
“Heaps As, Live in Tamania” son dos presentaciones en vivo en Hobart, Tasmania y Perth, de la parte occidental de Australia.
La música transita entre el hip-hop electrónico, música brasilera y downtempo, pasando por algunos pasajes dub y reggae. Es permanente ritmo que invita a mover algo el cuerpo, pero también a escuchar atento los ritmos envolventes y la diversidad de sonidos.

**DJ Olive, ‘Heaps As, Live in Tamania’, The Agriculture, 2006**

Gregor Asch aka DJ Olive is a Brooklyn DJ/composer based artist who has worked along with Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and laptop composer Ikue Mori, and doing improvisations alongside Jim O’Rourke, Jah Wobble, Alan Vega, John Zorn, among others. He was a founding member of We, that came out of New York’s illbient scene in the 90’s.
‘Heaps As, Live in Tamania’ are two live performances that took place in Hobart, Tasmania and in Perth, Western Australia.
The music moves through different genres like instrumental electronic hip-hop, Brazilian music, downtempo and sliding into dub and reggae.
There is a permanent rhythm that invites to move head and body, but also to hear the diversity of sounds and surrounding beats.
