Desde Israel Maor Appelbaum, Rani Zager son los encargados de editar 999 copias de su propio debut en CD.
Appelbaum es un ingeniero de sonido quien ha trabajado con The Legendery Pink Dots, Death In June, Hocico (México), entre otros artistas. También escribe para la revista Metal Hammer de Israel y es DJ.
Este es un disco que contiene ruido extremo en la línea de los japoneses Masona, Merzbow y Zeni Geva y de los emergentes Sunn O))).
El ruido representa para Poocjlataz la compleja aflicción de mucha gente en Israel de sentir la necesidad de auto-preservación. Estamos en presencia de ásperos ruidos electrónicos, junto a ráfagas de voces distorsionadas y fantasmales coros, recitado en hebreo y repetitivos y abrasivos zumbidos.

Maor Appelbaum and Rani Zager from Israel comprised the Poochlatz outfit and ‘Victims Of Self Preservation’ is their debut CD.
Appelbaum is a live sound engineer who worked with artists in the likes of The Legendary Pink Dots, Death In June and the Mexican band Hocico, among others. Also he’s a music writer for Metal Hammer magazine in Israel and DJ.
This album is in the vein of the extreme noise terror sound of Japannoise makers Massona, Merzbow and Zeni Geva and the emergent Sunn O))).
This noise represents what for Poochlatz is the complex affliction of many people in Israel who are in the need of self-preservation. Harsh electronic sounds with blasted distorted vocals, Jewish spoken-word, haunted chorus and repetitive and abrasive humming.
