V/A, “Hake Lavasu”, Sushitech 02, 2006
Este EP comienza con Molair, dúo francés de Laurent Bernonville, alias Bern, y Thierry Mbale, alias Tez, y su tema “La línea”; que contiene pads dubs etéreos en contraparte con una base de bajo y bombo contundente, más lentas progresiones de micro percusiones procesadas y melodías escondidas.
Lo que sigue es Arnaud Le Texier & Yossi Amoyal “The things you said”, un tema apenas perceptible con masas oscuras con efectos y ruidos que van y vienen y que parecieran de fuentes sacadas de guitarras, un tema totalmente ambient que marca una pausa dentro del EP.
En el lado B abre Daniel Fritschi “Interposition”, quien posee su propio sello llamado Level y que acá nos presenta un tema con una base algo dub, con acordes cortos de teclados y melodías alegres que a momentos se callan para dejar solo al ritmo que es una constante que prepondera. Un tema gentil y fácil de escuchar.
Luego, Autómata (también conocido como Receptor), presenta “Voluntad”, una base pulsante con micro percusiones, además de melodías fluidas y extensas, más otras cortas y secas, un tema que pareciera como estar soñando que se está caminando sobre las nubes.
Esto termina con Yossi Amoyal “!#Psycho mechanik”, que más que un tema parece como un cierre de cortina que sigue con la línea atmosférica del track A2.
En general, acá se encuentran dos características; una, las bases marcadas pero con líneas melódicas relajadas y la otra con las pausas y cierres ambient.
El resultado es un EP agradable, especial para relajarse y que da muestra de lo variado y lo abierto que puede llegar este sello, pero que sin embargo sabe distinguir bien sus estilos y artistas mediante sus dos sub-sellos (Pariter y SushiPurple).

This EP begins with Molair, a French duo conformed by Laurent Bernonville (aka Bern) & Thierry Mbale (aka Tez). Their track “La línea” contains ethereal dubby pads in contrast with a strong bass/drum base, hand in hand with slow micro-fx-percussion progressions and hidden melodies.
Then comes Arnaud Le Texier & Yossi Amoyal with “The things you said”, an almost non-perceptible track, with dark masses that come and go, and that sometimes sound like a source taken from processed guitars. This is a totally ambient track that makes a pause in between.
The B-side starts with Daniel Fritschi’s “Interposition” (he has his own label called Level). Here he comes with a dub-base and short chords mixed with happy tunes. These lines appear now and then and let the constant rhythm rule. This is a gentle and easy-listening track.
Then, Autómata (better known as Receptor), presents a micro-pushing-percussion track called “Voluntad”, with long and fluid melodies, among other short and dry ones. This is a track that feels like dreaming you’re walking over clouds.
This vinyl ends with Yossi Amoyal’s “!#Psycho mechanik”. This piece sounds more like an outro than a track, because of its short duration, but maintains the same ambient spirit of the A2 cut.
The result of this EP is nice, especially if you want to relax and get a look at the variety of styles proposed by this label, even with its two sub-labels (Pariter and SushiPurple).
