Este es otro disco editado por el sello que dirige el australiano Lawrence English y como es costumbre, el diseño – a cargo de John Chantler – es una caja de cartón plegable realizada con cuidado y gusto.
«Ku» son tres temas de improvisación que Davis y Jerman realizan en la casa de campo de este último en Cottonwood, Arizona entre diciembre 2003 y diciembre de 2006, en el que predomina el trabajo de sonidos concretos. Aquí ambos utilizan diversos elementos como palos de madera, cables, fierros, electrónica de baja fidelidad, gong, piedras, entre otros.
Este trabajo demuestra el interés por los sonidos post-concretos y la variedad de texturas que se producen con la utilización de tan diversos ‘instrumentos’ que reproducen el entorno en el que desarrollaron este disco.

This is a new release of the label run by Australian Lawrence English and as always the CD package is a well-taken care folding cardboard box made with a fine taste.
Ku are three tracks of improvisation that Davis and Jerman performed in the farm house of this last one in Cottonwood, Arizona between December 2003 and December of 2006, in which they work concrete sounds.
In this CD both used diverse elements like wood sticks, cables, irons, low-fi electronics, gong, and stones, among others.
This work demonstrates their interest for post-concrete sounds and the variety of textures that take place with the so diverse use of ‘instruments’ reproducing the surroundings in which they developed this music.
