Destructo Swarmbots, “Clear Light”, Public Guilt, 2007
Este es el proyecto de Mike Mare que proviene de Queens, Nueva York, quien ha editado su álbum debut y segundo disco para Public Guilt. Además, en su discografía constan algunas remezclas, apariciones en compilados y colaboraciones.
Mare crea tanto una muralla de ruido blanco con borrosas capas de distorsión, drones de guitarra y vastas estaciones de ambient.
“Banta” y su temblorosa guitarra viaja a través de la oscuridad y recuerda las formas orgánicas de Coil. En la vena más industrial, cuya filosa guitarra suena bastante aguda en “Phases”, crea gradualmente una atmósfera intrigante.
Los efectos de delay de guitarra enriquecen las diferentes capas en “Fireberry” y la distorsión es un elemento que marca una presencia en “Sipping on the fog”, y es evocador de borrosas imágenes.

This is a solo project of Mike Mare from Queens, New York who has released his first full-length album and second CD on Public Guilt. Furthermore, his discography comprises some remixes, compilation appearances and collaborations.
He creates both a wall of sound of white noise with hazy layers of distortion, guitar drones and vast spaces of ambience.
“Banta” and its trembling guitar travel through dark tunnels that recall the organic shapes of Coil. In a more industrial vein, the edgy guitar that sounds quite sharp on “Phases” gradually creates an intriguing atmosphere.
The guitar delay effects enrich different layers on “Fireberry” and distortion is an element that marks a presence on “Sipping on the fog”, and it’s evocative of blurred images.
