Kyle Monday en guitarra es la miembro estable de Carta quien junto a Jason Pérez [guitarra, piano, teclados], ambos de Berkeley, California, escribieron este álbum entre 2003 y 2005 además de algunos colaboradores quienes no son estables en Carta y que pertenecen a otras bandas como el ex Charles Atlas Sacha Galvagna en bajo.
El sonido en “The Glass Bottom Road” recuerda el trabajo de Slowdive/Codeine y sus guitarras brillantes y las suaves baterías, bastante melódico.
Hay aquí algunos temas notables como los pasajes sonoros de guitarra en “Larva”, “If Not For You Then Not For Me” y “Perdido”.

Kyle Monday on guitar and core member of Carta along with Jason Pérez [guitars, piano and keyboards] both from Berkeley, California wrote this album between 2003 and 2005 plus other musicians which aren’t stable members of Carta and who belong to other bands like formerly Charles Atlas’s Sacha Galvagna on bass.
The sound on ‘The Glass Bottom Road’ that recall the work of Slowdive/Codeine and its shimmering guitars and soft drumming, quite melodic.
There are some notables here such as the guitar soundscapes of ‘Larva’, ‘If Not For You Then Not For Me’ and ‘Perdido’.
