Mirt es un músico y diseñador gráfico polaco que trabaja en solitario, es miembro de la banda Brasil and The Gallowbrothers y colabora con otros artistas. Ha editado en sellos como MonotypeRec, Nefryt, Foxglove y cat|sun, sello este último que dirige y junto a Jakub Mikołajczyk lo hace en Monotype Records.
Mirt trabaja con sintetizadores análogos, guitarras, trompetas y instrumentos acústicos que son procesados.
‘Artificial Field Recordings’ es su sexto disco y lo artificial de las grabaciones de campo obedece a que Mirt las trabaja con efectos electrónicos. Le acompaña una base de pulsaciones de bajo que le da profundidad al disco, guitarras deslizantes, emergentes soplidos de trompeta y percusión. Todo ello en un trasfondo ambient que tanto produce sonidos abstractos como sutiles melodías.
Este disco se despliega lentamente y cautiva por la manera que va desarrollándose y va creando atmósfera.

Mirt is a Polish musician and graphic designer works solo, is a member of the Brazil and The Gallowbrothers band and collaborates with other artists. He has released on labels in the likes of MonotypeRec, Nefryt, Foxglove and cat|sun, the latter label run by him and along with Jakub Mikolajczyk Monotype Records.
Mirt works with analog synthesizers, guitars, trumpets and acoustic instruments which are processed.
‘Artificial Field Recordings’ is his sixth album and the artificiality of field recordings is Mirt’s electronic effects on them and comes together with a bass pulse basis that gives depth to the album, sliding guitars, trumpet-blowing pop and percussion. All this in an ambient background sound produced both abstract and subtle melodies.
This album unfolds slowly and captivated by the way it develops and creates soundscapes.
