Este es el cuarto álbum y el primero para Kranky del dúo de Nueva Orleans compuesto por Turk Dietrich y Michael Jones.
El álbum tiene un aura de shoegaze/post-punk de los ’80 que me recuerdan a Slowdive, Ride, incluso Echo & The Bunnymen y hints e insinuaciones a My Bloody Valentine.
Los nueve cortes son canciones estructuradas, acompañadas de una batería programable, guitarras deslizantes y un ambiente de oscuros sintetizadores. Para este disco evoca una época de nostalgia.

This is the fourth record and the first one for Kranky from the New Orleans duo of Turk Dietrich and Michael Jones.
The album has a shoegaze/post-punk of the 1980s feeling that recall me of Slowdive, Ride, even Echo & The Bunnymen and hints to My Bloody Valentine.
The nine tracks are song-structured songs, accompanied by a drum machine driven, sliding guitars and a dark synth-pop mood. For me this album brings back a nostalgic era.
