Chiharu MK es una japonesa dedicada a la música electrónica experimental y Sachiko Nagata, también de Japón, es percusionista y toca un peculiar instrumento: ‘Hamon’, que es un tambor cóncavo de hierro y que se mezcla con las grabaciones de campo que provienen de Hokkaido, una isla al norte de Japón.
Sonidos de pájaros, gaviotas y otras aves, gotas de agua, timbres del ‘Hamon’ que se esparcen por todo el ambiente sonoro, le dan a esta música profundidad, mucho colorido y ritmo. Es tanta la multiplicidad de sonidos (‘Blow Flow I’ y ‘Blow Flow II’) que se convierten en melodías que más vale estar atento para no perderse nada.
‘Blow Flow III’ y ‘Blow Flow IV’ tienen un drone de fondo intenso y penetrante, pero aún así los pájaros y el ‘Hamon’ marcan su presencia. ¡Bello disco!

Chiharu MK is a Japanese experimental electronic musician and Sachiko Nagata, also from Japan, is a percussionist who plays a peculiar instrument: ‘Hamon’, which is a bow iron drum which is blended with field recordings that come from Hokkaido, an island in the north of Japan.
Sounds of birds, gulls and other birds, raindrops, ‘Hamon’ timbres that spread across the sound environment give more depth and colorful and rhythm to the music. Such is the variety of sounds (‘Blow Flow I’ and ‘Blow Flow II’) that become melodies, it’s better to be careful and not to miss anything.
‘Blow Flow III’ and ‘Blow Flow IV’ have an intense and penetrating drone in the background but still the birds and the ‘Hamon’ mark their presence. Amazing disc!
